Residents receive training and will develop proficiency and expertise in care of the emergency patient, critical care, toxicology, precepting skills, medication safety, and drug use policy development. The vast majority of rotational experiences will be completed in critical care areas including the emergency department and medical and cardiovascular intensive care units.

• Code Blue/Rapid Response Team (48 weeks)

• Emergency Department Staffing (40 weeks)

• Medical Education (52 weeks)

• Neonatal Intensive Care/Pediatrics (52 weeks- 1 hour/month)

• Practice Management and Drug Policy (48 weeks- 2 hours/month)

• Residency Project (52 weeks)

• Teaching Certificate through Campbell University College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences, if not completed as part of PGY-1 program

Clinical decentralized position every other Saturday
